Parachuting without Parachutes – See How They Survived
adrenaline junkie: a person who has a compulsion to do thrilling and dangerous activities
Antti Pendikainen was a daredevil from Finland. In 2015, he jumped from a hot air balloon 13,000 feet above the ground without a parachute. If there wasn’t a video of the jump, it would be hard to believe it’s true. As Antii jumps from the balloon, he says, “‘I’m stupid. I’m tough enough to do it without a parachute.” Antii survived his jump by grabbing onto another skydiver in midair.
In 2016, American Luke Aikins jumped from 25,000 feet without a parachute. But he had a different plan for a safe landing. He aimed for a large net and landed right in the middle of it.
