Musician Turns Nature’s Sounds into Music
call to action: a message that encourages people to do something important or helpful
Alexander Liebermann, from Berlin, translates nature into music. He believes that the natural world is full of untapped melodies. He carefully listens to the sounds of wolves, birds, and whales and writes them down as musical notes. Do these animals make music? He says, “That’s a very philosophical question. It depends on your definition of music.”
This project is more than just a hobby for Lieberman. It is a call to action, urging us to listen and reconnect with our environment. By sharing his work, he invites us all to listen more closely to the sounds around us. Liebermann believes that if we understand the music of nature, we might also learn to protect it better. His work is a bridge between the wild and our lives, reminding us of the beauty we need to preserve.
