Where Waves Create Music: Discover Zadar’s Sea Organ
can’t touch someone/something: is much worse and cannot equal someone/something
Nature has always inspired artists, but the best works of humans can’t touch the beauty of nature. Khalil Gibran once said, “Trees are poems the earth writes upon the sky, We fell them down and turn them into paper, That we may record our emptiness.”
In Zadar, Croatia, an architect has collaborated with nature to create a special instrument called the ‘Sea Organ.’ It is built inside marble steps by the sea. When waves hit it, beautiful sounds come out.
Close to the Sea Organ is a 22-meter-wide circle made of solar panels. These collect sunlight during the day. The entire place lights up at night!
If you visit Zadar, you can watch the light show and hear the music of the sea, but you’ll never hear the same song twice. Every wave makes a new sound.
