Eighteen-year-old Lalit Patidar holds the Guinness World Record for the hairiest face. He has hypertrichosis, which is sometimes called werewolf syndrome. The rare condition causes over 95% of his face to be covered in hair.
When Lalit was younger, some children were afraid of him. But after they got to know him, they saw that he was just like everyone else. Today, he is very comfortable in his own skin and doesn’t feel the need to change. He said, “I like how I am, and I don’t want to change my look.”
Recently, Lalit traveled to Italy, where Guinness World Records officially recognized him. He said, “I am speechless. I don’t know what to say because I am very happy to get this recognition.”
Lalit is also very active on social media, with 265,000 Instagram followers and 108,000 YouTube subscribers. On his channels, he shares his daily life and experiences. His story is an inspiration to people around the world to be proud of who they are.
