Restaurant Invites You To Work For Your Dinner
cough up: to give or pay money, often unwillingly
Have you ever felt that going out to eat at a restaurant was just too relaxing and convenient? Do you ever look at your dinner plate and think, “This was just too easy. Where’s the challenge?” A chain of restaurants in Japan might just have the answer.
Zauo Restaurant gives customers a fishing pole and the chance to catch their own dinner. You can catch your own fish sitting in an indoor boat next to a well-stocked pool. Once you have your catch, the chef prepares the fish to your liking. It can be sashimi, deep-fried fish, or you can cook it yourself on a grill at your table.
For those that are too lazy to fish for their dinner, you can order off the menu the old-fashioned way, but you’ll have to cough up 30% more when it’s time to pay the bill.
