Wrinkle the Duck has run the New York City Marathon three times. Although she only completed about a half-mile of the race, she has won many fans on social media.
Justin Wood and Joyce Kung raised Wrinkle to perform in public events. They said they had never heard of a trained duck but decided to give it a shot. Her first race video in 2021 became very popular online, and now she runs the marathon every year. Wrinkle wears special custom shoes to protect her feet on the hard roads. Her longest record is a 1.4-mile march in a Halloween parade.
