The band members do more than play music. They make giant pictures on the field by synchronizing their movement. For example, they once formed two ships that were fighting. The Ohio State ship “sank” the Michigan one. In another show, they made a car race, and the Ohio State car won. Playing music while moving in complex ways is hard.
