Ross Cook, a British runner, was the first man to run across Africa from south to north. Over 352 days, he completed more than 385 marathons across 16 countries. His adventure started in a small town in South Africa and took him through deserts, rainforests, and mountains.
Ross faced many challenges along the way. He had visa problems, was robbed, and struggled with illness. Despite these difficulties, Ross kept running. His effort was not just for himself; he raised almost a million dollars for charities.
