Watch These Amazing Dogs Drive Cars
move on: to start doing or talking about a new thing after finishing something else
In New Zealand, some dogs have learned to drive cars! Animal trainer Mark Vette has been teaching these dogs the rules of the road. It’s part of a campaign by the New Zealand (SPCA) Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals. This organization wants to show that rescue dogs are smart and can learn new things.
Three dogs, Monty, Ginny, and Porter, have been trained for several weeks. These dogs learned to drive a special car with handles and pedals they can use. They started by learning to steer a wooden cart, then moved on to a real car.
This project shows that rescue dogs can be great pets. The SPCA hopes more people will adopt rescue dogs after seeing how smart they are.
