Museum Worker Mistakes Art for Trash
no hard feelings: an expression used to show that you are not angry or upset after someone has made a mistake or caused a problem
A museum worker confused an artwork with garbage and accidentally threw it away. To be fair, the art did look like garbage. It was two empty beer cans placed on the floor of the museum.
When the curator saw the hand-painted cans were missing, she recovered them from a garbage bag before they were lost forever. She said there were no hard feelings toward the staff member, who was just doing his job.
A spokesperson for the museum said they often put art in unexpected places to surprise people. For now, the artwork has been placed in a more secure location.
