The Beatles’ New AI-Powered Song Brings John Lennon’s Voice Back
one of a kind: something that is very unique and cannot be found anywhere else
The Beatles have released their first new song in decades using the power of Artificial Intelligence. Before he died, John Lennon made a solo recording of singing while playing the piano. In the 1990s, Yoko Ono gave Paul McCartney the recording to turn it into a complete song. McCartney, along with George Harrison and Ringo Star, worked on the song but never finished it. They didn’t have the technology to separate Lennon’s vocals from the piano.
AI has now allowed them to isolate Lennon’s voice and complete the song. McCartney and Starr added bass and drums. George Harrison’s 1990s contributions were also mixed in.
They also released a one-of-a-kind music video for the song. Weaving together footage from the past and present, the story of The Beatles continues, powered by the latest in AI.
