Watch This Man’s CPR Skills Bring a Bird Back to Life
pay off: to result in a positive outcome or reward after a period of effort or waiting
In Cyprus, a 67-year-old man showed the world how kindness mixed with persistence can make miracles happen. This man found a small bird that had an accident in a swimming pool. The bird was not moving at all. Some people around him laughed and told him to forget about the bird, but he did not listen to them.
He carefully used his CPR skills on the bird. He alternated between mouth-to-mouth breathing and pushing gently on its chest. After some time, his efforts paid off. To the astonishment of everyone, the bird started to move again, and then it flew away. The man was very happy to see this.
His son, Rolandos spoke with pride about his father’s action. He said his father had saved people’s lives before, and now, a small bird’s life was added to that list.
