Would You Share Your Search History to Find Love?
put yourself out there: to take a social or emotional risk by showing your true thoughts, feelings, or abilities to others
In the world of online dating, first impressions are everything. That’s why people choose photos where they look their best and try to write something clever to sound interesting.. But it’s not always the most authentic way to put yourself out there. One new dating website is doing something very different. It asks people to be honest and open in a unique way.
The website is called Browser Dating. It was created by Dries Depoorter, a digital artist from Belgium. To use the site, you upload your most recent internet searches. You can’t choose what you include. You have to upload everything. The dating website looks at your search history and creates a personality profile. Then, it matches you with someone who has similar interests.
There are no photos or personal bios, just search behavior. Deporter says, “Instead of choosing the best pictures or best things about yourself, this will show a side of you that you’d never pick.
