In goat yoga, goats walk on you while you do yoga poses! This quirky activity makes people laugh and relax. Lainey Morse from Oregon started this practice in 2016 after finding joy in her goats during difficult times. She wanted to share this happiness, and goat yoga quickly spread across North America.
Now, there’s snake yoga. At LXRYOGA in Costa Mesa, California, you can do yoga while holding snakes. Owners Tess and Huy Cao let people hold pythons during the class. These snakes are not poisonous, but they can squeeze the life out of prey. To keep everyone safe, the snakes are fed before the class. Holding the snakes supposedly helps people stay present and relaxed. Even people who are afraid of snakes try this class to face their fears.
