Toh is originally from Malaysia but has been a long-time resident of Hong Kong. He went to medical school in the Philippines, where he studied very hard every day for five years. He faced difficulties with memory and stamina and even repeated a year after failing an exam. Despite these challenges, Toh stuck to it with support from his family and younger classmates.
