In a small English village, people gather each year for the World Snail Racing Championships! This event isn’t about speed; it’s about patience and tradition. The competition started in the 1960s. Each year since, snails have competed across the 13.5-inch course.
You don’t need your own snail to join. Participants can rent a snail from the organizers. This year, a snail named Jeff won, leaving all the other competitors behind. But there was a small problem. The organizers forgot to bring a prize of lettuce!
