Paralyzed Musicians Play Music Again With Brainwaves
team up: to join with someone to work together on something
Imagine musicians playing amazing music without even touching their instruments! In 2015, a special group of musicians showed the world how it’s done. These musicians had health problems that made it difficult to move. They could no longer play their instruments, but they still had a love for music in their hearts.
Scientists at Plymouth University and a hospital in London teamed up to help these musicians play again. They put sensors on their heads that could read their brainwaves. When they thought of a piece of music, another person would play it for them. In the end, the four musicians made wonderful music just by thinking about it. Watch the short film about their performance below.
