age is just a number: a person’s age doesn’t necessarily reflect their abilities, interests or personality
No Limits: 89-year-old Surfer and 102-year-old Skydiver Make History
Two elderly individuals have recently made history, proving that age is just a number. In Japan, an 89-year-old surfer named Hidekichi Miyazaki has set a new Guinness World Record as the oldest surfer. He started surfing when he was 80 and hopes to surf until he is 100. Meanwhile, in Australia, a 102-year-old woman named Irene O’Shea has become the world’s oldest skydiver. She first jumped out of a plane at the age of 100. On her 102nd birthday, she broke the world record when she jumped out of a plane to raise money for charity.
