Willow the Cat is More Than Just a Pet – She’s a Lifesaver
out of character: describes a behavior that is unusual or not typical for someone or something
A heroic cat named Willow saved her diabetic owner’s life. Amanda Jameson, 51, from Liverpool, had dangerously low blood sugar and lost consciousness. Willow woke up Amanda’s partner, Ray Sherwood, by biting his leg and jumping around. Ray said this was very out of character for Willow. The cat led Ray to Amanda, who was unconscious. Ray called an ambulance, and Amanda was rushed to the hospital. Thanks to her cat, she survived. Willow has become very protective of Amanda since she returned home from the hospital. She says Willow often puts her nose to her mouth to check if she’s breathing.
