Improv Everywhere is a group of comedians from New York City. They perform pranks in public places to spread joy and surprise. Some missions involve many people, while others have only a few. In one prank, 16 members dressed as shopping mall workers. They spontaneously began to sing, to the surprise of the shoppers around them. In their most famous prank, 207 people suddenly froze in a train station for five minutes. The group has a 13,000-person mailing list of people invited to join their joyful pranks.
